On June 17, Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced the publication of the booklet "2025 National Industrial Complexes at a Glance Through Infographics," designed to make the status and trends of industrial complexes nationwide easy and intuitive to understand.
"2025 National Industrial Complexes at a Glance Through Infographics" was planned to visualize complex statistical information related to industrial complexes using infographics, enabling both the public and policymakers to access the information easily. The main content is based on the nationally approved statistics, "National Industrial Complex Status Statistics," and as of the end of December last year, it contains key statistical information on the number of industrial complexes by type and region, tenant companies, production, exports, and employment in Korea.
In particular, the publication allows readers to see at a glance the nationwide trends in industrial complexes over the past five years, including changes in the number of industrial complexes by type and by region, following the increase of 109 industrial complexes from 2019 to 2024.
This publication will be distributed to more than 350 organizations, including the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, local governments, and related agencies. It is also available for viewing on the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation website under the National Industrial Complex Status Statistics section.
Lee Sanghoon, President of Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, said, "We focused on visualizing industrial complex information to help users better understand it," and added, "We hope this publication will serve as a useful resource for policy development related to industrial complexes and for regional development."
