InskoBi's "Coralhaze" Sees 918% Sales Surge Just One Month After Launch on Amazon US

KOSPI-listed company InskoBi announced on the 17th that its color cosmetics brand Coralhaze achieved a 918% month-on-month sales surge just one month after launching on Amazon in the United States. The company is being recognized for quickly gaining a presence in the North American market based solely on product quality, without advertising or celebrity marketing, as word-of-mouth spreads.

Building on its successful experience in the Japanese market, InskoBi formed a dedicated project team for U.S. expansion at the end of last year and officially launched Coralhaze on Amazon in April 2025. An Amazon Korea representative commented, "It typically takes several months to achieve the first sale, but Coralhaze had a very unusual 'hot start.'"

The flagship product, Glow Lock Jelly Tint, features a unique lock-shaped package and comes in 15 colors, offering options that transcend race and age, which resulted in high click-through and purchase conversion rates. This product had already achieved success in the Korean and Japanese markets, with Beomgyu, a member of K-POP group Tomorrow X Together (TXT), serving as ambassador. Another popular item, Idol Aegyosal Maker, is also generating a strong response among Generation Z consumers.

Recently, K-beauty trends have been expanding from skincare to color makeup. In particular, since the end of 2024, the presence of K-makeup brands on Amazon in the U.S. has become more prominent, and Coralhaze is capitalizing on this momentum to accelerate its expansion in the North American market.

According to the Korea International Trade Association, Korea's cosmetics exports surpassed $10 billion (13.6417 trillion won) for the first time in 2023, with the U.S. market accounting for about $1.9 billion (approximately 2.5919 trillion won). A market research firm projects that exports of Korean cosmetics to the U.S. will reach $9.9 billion (13.4053 trillion won) by 2032.

An InskoBi representative stated, "In the second half of this year, we plan to establish Amazon US as a strategic hub for K-color cosmetics, launch three new products, focus on Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday, and strengthen marketing targeting the MZ generation on TikTok and Instagram. Through these strategies, we aim to achieve $10 million (1.36 billion won) in sales in the U.S. within two years."
