During this on-site executive meeting, participants visited key locations that had suffered major flood damage in previous years, such as the Deokgye Park intersection and the factory site construction area at 131-24 Deokgye-dong, to thoroughly inspect the progress of flood prevention measures and identify any vulnerabilities.

An official from the relevant department explained, "We installed new stormwater drainage pipes or carried out repair work in areas that experienced damage from heavy rains in the past, and installed structures to prevent large volumes of water from flowing in all at once, thereby preemptively reducing the risk of damage."

Mayor Yang Suhyun emphasized, "In addition to the sites we inspected today, it is even more important to conduct preemptive inspections and establish response measures for other areas at risk of flood damage."

He also stated, "I urge each town, township, and related department to work together to ensure there are no oversights and to make thorough preparations, putting forth every effort to prevent damage from heavy rains."
