MBN announced on June 17 that actor Lee Jangwoo will appear in the travel reality show "DoYouKnowHomeCooking," where he travels around the world introducing Korean home-cooked meals.
"DoYouKnowHomeCooking," which will premiere in July, follows Lee Jangwoo, who is passionate about food and flavor, as he journeys to various countries to present Korean-style home-cooked meals to locals.
Well-known by the nickname "Meokjangwoo," Lee Jangwoo visits culinary destinations such as Thailand and Taiwan, explores local restaurants, experiences local markets and culture, and tries different cuisines. The show depicts him visiting the homes of locals he meets during his travels, personally preparing Korean meals, and forming friendships over a warm meal.
Lee Jangwoo expressed his enthusiasm for food, saying, "I feel hungry for 20 out of 24 hours," and received reactions from locals such as, "I've never seen anyone eat so well."
The production team stated, "'DoYouKnowHomeCooking' is not just a simple eating show or travelogue, but a project to share the comfort and warmth of Korean home-cooked meals with the world." They added, "Lee Jangwoo's genuine charm, his love for food, and his unpredictable chemistry with locals will provide viewers with fresh laughter."
