From June 20 for three days, she will compete in the KLPGA Tour The Haven Masters (total prize money: 1 billion won), held at The Haven Country Club West and South Courses (par 72, 6,631 yards) in Daebu-do, Ansan, Gyeonggi Province. A total of 120 players will compete in a 54-hole stroke play format to determine the winner. Park Heeyoung, who has won twice on the LPGA Tour, will participate as an invited player and face off against her younger sister Park Jooyoung. The defending champion is Bae Sohyun.

Lee Dungeun claimed her first career victory last week at the 39th DB Group Korea Women's Open. She is recognized as one of the top long hitters on the domestic women's tour. Last year, as a rookie, she ranked third in driving distance (254.14 yards), and this year she has moved up to first place (259.80 yards). Her playing style involves hitting long drives and then attacking the green with short irons or wedges, resulting in a high greens-in-regulation percentage.

The Haven CC, the venue for the tournament, has hosted multiple KLPGA Tour events in the past, with many long hitters among its list of champions. Jang Hana, Kim Seiyoung, Park Sunghyun, and Choi Hyejin have all celebrated victories here. The course layout is considered advantageous for players with long drives. On many par-4 and par-5 holes, a long tee shot provides a clear advantage for the next shot.

In an interview immediately after her first career win, Lee Dungeun said, "I think the good result came because I endured and kept doing what I had to do. My goal for this year was one win." She added, "Now, I will work hard with the goal of multiple wins. I was able to win thanks to my parents who supported me from the sidelines."
