Gwangju Donggu District announced on the 17th that it has recently established and officially launched the 'Donggu Integrated Health Center' at three locations: Donggu Health Center, Horanggodume Haengbok Nanum Center, and Donggu Jiwon Healthy Life Support Center.
The Donggu Integrated Health Center provides residents with a wide range of healthcare services, including health consultations, chronic disease management, and vaccinations, with the goal of building a healthy local community.
The center plans to offer integrated medical and care services through one-on-one personalized health management and collaboration with local medical institutions. It also aims to encourage residents' ongoing participation, provide health information, and offer education to help raise awareness about health among community members.
Lim Taek, head of Donggu District Office, said, "I am very pleased that the operation of the Integrated Health Center will contribute to improving the health of local residents and preventing diseases," adding, "We will continue to build a healthy local community through ongoing health management and active resident participation."
