Recently, Coloso Japan has been expanding its content offerings to include areas such as figure making, voice acting, flower design, and self-employment know-how. A representative from the Day1 Company Japan business division explained, "Japan is a market where the apprenticeship model of education has traditionally been well-developed, but with digital transformation, demand for online education is surging. Coloso's practical, work-focused content is leading this market shift and has established a unique position in the local education market."
Day1 Company entered the Japanese market in 2021 without establishing a local subsidiary, and began operating a local office in Marunouchi, Tokyo last year. The local workforce started with just two people, but thanks to the rapid growth of Day1 Japan, it has now increased to ten. These employees are focused on developing original local content and marketing activities.
Lee Kangmin, CEO of Day1 Company, stated, "The success of Coloso Japan is proof of the global competitiveness of Korean adult education content. We will continue to achieve success in the global market with differentiated content tailored to local markets."
