NH Investment & Securities: "Beyond a Trading Platform to an Investment Strategy Partner"

Yoon Byungwoon:
"We Will Evolve into a Financial Platform Focused on Growing Clients' Assets"

On June 17, NH Investment & Securities held "The First Media Day: Refreshing Overseas Investment" at The Plaza Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, where the company announced its transition from a transaction-centered mobile trading system (MTS) to an "investment insight platform" focused on information and strategy. NH Investment & Securities expressed its commitment to evolve beyond a simple trading platform and become an "investment strategy partner" that helps clients design and grow their assets together.

NH Investment & Securities: "Beyond a Trading Platform to an Investment Strategy Partner"

Yoon Byungwoon, CEO of NH Investment & Securities, stated, "NH Investment & Securities will not stop at providing simple transaction services. We will offer timely information and strategies that answer the question of 'why clients should buy a particular stock,' thereby supporting investors' substantial asset growth. We will evolve into a platform that focuses on the essence of our business, which is the growth of clients' assets, rather than merely increasing trading volume."

NH Investment & Securities identified three common challenges faced by overseas stock investors: lack of accessibility and timeliness of investment information, limited trading environments due to time differences with local markets, and the burden of transaction fees. In response, the company announced plans to resolve these issues and evolve into a platform that genuinely supports asset growth through a three-step strategy for "investing like a local": providing original investment information, enhancing trading convenience, and offering zero commission trading. "Investing like a local" is NH Investment & Securities' new vision, which aims to fully support clients' overseas investment journeys through the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and global partnerships.

In particular, NH Investment & Securities will be the first domestic securities firm to exclusively provide investment content from Tom Lee, chief strategist at U.S. Fundstrat, and technical analysis expert Mark Newton, along with headline news and market indicator analysis from major foreign media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and The Economist, which were previously accessible only to U.S. institutional investors. All of this content will be enhanced with customized features such as AI-powered summaries, Korean translation, and dubbing, and will be available every morning and evening within the MTS, allowing clients to experience real-time access to local information.

The flagship service, "Why Is It Moving?" is offered in partnership with U.S. financial media Benzinga. It analyzes and summarizes in real time the reasons behind sharp price movements for U.S. stocks with a market capitalization of over $100 million, based on earnings, disclosures, breaking news, and more. The service also suggests stocks with similar issues, supporting investors in expanding their strategic insights.

In the second half of this year, the company plans to launch a linked service with Seeking Alpha, a leading U.S. financial and investment platform. This will provide step-by-step services such as investment soundness checks for client portfolios and watchlists, alternative stock recommendations for underperforming stocks, stock-specific news and expert analysis, ratings, and stock picks (Alpha Picks). Additionally, NH Investment & Securities is developing an AI agent service to support extensive information search and trading, and plans to offer verified algorithms through collaboration with U.S.-based application programming interface (API) providers.

To minimize transaction costs, since March, the company has been offering bold trading benefits through the "Zero Commission Refresh for Overseas Investment" event, including zero commission on U.S. stock trades (for up to two years when conditions are met), 100% preferential rates on automatic currency exchange, and free commission for stock accumulation purchases.

Looking ahead, NH Investment & Securities plans to further expand its "investing like a local" solution and strengthen its position as a "content-driven investment insight platform" through additional programs such as expanding global investment content partnerships and enhancing AI-based investment agent functions.
