On the 17th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will experience early summer heat with partly cloudy skies.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be on the edge of a high-pressure system located over the southern seas of Japan. Morning lows will range from 19 to 21 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will range from 26 to 29 degrees Celsius.
Sea waves in both the West Sea and the South Sea are expected to reach up to 1.5 meters, and fine dust levels are forecasted to be 'Good.'
An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Daytime temperatures will rise to around 30 degrees Celsius, and in some inland areas, the maximum heat index will exceed 31 degrees, making it hot. Please take care of your health during outdoor activities."
