Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province will host the '2025 Bucheon Woojoe Chicken and Beer Festival in BIFAN' on July 4 and 5 at the City Hall Lawn Square and the surrounding car-free street area.
The festival will be held in conjunction with the 29th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, under the theme 'Beer & Movie, Beer & Music.' People of all ages can enjoy a variety of free programs at the lawn square, including movies, busking performances, and a concert by the Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra.
A flea market will also be operated to promote local coexistence, offering visitors a chance to discover a wide range of products from small and medium-sized businesses and local merchants.
Additionally, attendees who use a tumbler or reusable cup can purchase craft beer at a 500-won discount. There will also be an event where visitors can take photos at the chicken and beer photo zone and receive prizes such as tumblers and keyrings on a first-come, first-served basis by following Bucheon City on Instagram.

Five breweries will participate, including those with awards from domestic and international beer competitions: Eight People Brewery (Bubble Chemistry), Hidden Track Brewing, The Table Brewing Company, Dongducheon Brewery, and Miracle Brewery (Art Monster). In addition to chicken dishes, a variety of food truck offerings will be available.
A Bucheon City official stated, "We aim to create a festival where citizens can enjoy craft beer, safe food, and a variety of attractions, as well as a comfortable and enjoyable time with their families on the lawn square. We will strive to make this an open festival that is easily accessible to everyone in the city center during the hot summer."
