Experience, Trekking, and Performances Across Inje
Two-Day, One-Night Program Begins June 20
On June 16, Inje County in Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Choi Sanggi) announced that the Haneulnaerin Inje Local Tour Organization will operate the "Secret Forest <Our Own Small Concert>" program from June 20 to 21. The event will take place throughout Inje County, including Soyangho Village and Haetsal Village in Nam-myeon, and Naetgang Village in Buk-myeon. This event, which is filled with romance and emotion on summer nights across Inje, has already proven so popular that registration is now closed.
This program is designed to provide tourists visiting Inje’s rural areas with a unique experience where they can connect with nature and people, and enjoy healing and storytelling. Over two days and one night, participants will take part in a variety of activities, trekking, and performances throughout Inje.
The tour begins at Soyangho Village in Gwandae-ri, Nam-myeon, which is known for its clean natural environment and abundant sunlight, resulting in a plentiful harvest of fresh summer blueberries. After gathering in the village, participants will experience blueberry picking and smoothie making, then move to Haetsal Village in Namjeon 1-ri to engage in an in-depth discussion with village leader Lee Woongseop on the theme of "Building a Village Relationship Population."
In addition, participants will enjoy the panoramic natural scenery and sunset at Bakdalgochi, and spend time healing in nature with a nighttime walk through the fir tree forest. The program also includes "Our Own Small Concert," a cultural tour performance organized in collaboration with the Inje County Cultural Foundation, allowing participants to recharge with the romance and emotion of a summer night.
On the second day of the tour, June 21, participants will visit Naetgang Village in Buk-myeon, where village leader Park Suhong and residents will share their experiences of returning to farming and engage in conversations with the participants. The tour will conclude after exploring Naetgang Village and enjoying lunch together.
Although registration is now closed due to high demand, spots may become available through cancellations, in which case applications can be made via Naver Reservation. The participation fee is 52,500 won per person, which covers all activities, meals, and accommodation during the tour.
A tour official stated, “We will continue to expand and operate a variety of rural tourism and experience programs so that visitors can enjoy their own special journey and romance in Inje.”
Meanwhile, the "Secret Forest <Our Own Small Concert>" program by the Inje Local Tour Organization is part of the Inje County Rural Creatour Support Project. Inje County is supporting the development and operation of rural tourism programs by investing a total project budget of 250 million won, which was secured after being selected for a public contest by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
