Gwangju Office of Education to Operate "High School Curriculum" Training Program

The Gwangju Office of Education announced on the 17th that, in line with the full implementation of the high school credit system, it will operate the "2022 Revised High School Curriculum Training" every Saturday until July 5.

The training, which began with the common Korean language subject on the 14th, will continue for four weeks, covering Korean history (June 21), common English (June 28), and common mathematics (July 5). A total of 230 high school teachers from the Gwangju area are participating. The program focuses on lesson models, subject-specific features, and evaluation cases. The Office of Education has appointed key teachers for each subject and members of the curriculum writing team as instructors.


Kina Mi from Gwangju Girls' High School said, "Various methods such as essay writing and discussion-based classes have been of practical help." Superintendent Lee Jeongseon stated, "We will support the stable implementation of the revised curriculum through training that reflects the needs of the field."
