NH-Amundi Rebalances HANARO Global Physical AI Active ETF

NH-Amundi Asset Management announced on June 16 that it has rebalanced the portfolio of the HANARO Global Physical AI Active ETF based on corporate earnings outlooks.

As of June 12, the pre-tax cumulative return of the HANARO Global Physical AI Active ETF since its listing is 18.95%. The ETF invests in companies related to AI that are expanding into the physical domain. Its investment targets are global companies leading core technological fields within AI, such as humanoids, autonomous driving, and AI applications.

Recently, stocks related to AI have shown divergent price trends depending on their earnings outlooks. After the easing of tariff risks and the subsequent market rebound, differentiation among individual stocks has become more pronounced. This appears to be because investors in AI companies are now focusing not only on growth potential but also on profitability.

The HANARO Global Physical AI Active ETF has actively reflected market conditions by significantly rebalancing its portfolio, demonstrating the strengths of active ETF management. Compared to its listing date on April 22, as of June 11, the ETF reduced its allocation to China by 10 percentage points, lowering it to approximately 18%. Looking at the five sub-themes in which the ETF invests, it decreased allocations to four themes?humanoids (robotics), edge devices, autonomous driving, and AI applications?while increasing the AI infrastructure allocation from 17% to 40%.

Specifically, the ETF increased its allocation to companies involved in AI data collection and processing, which have high earnings visibility. In addition to Astera Labs, Lumentum, and Nebius?companies specializing in AI data center modules and solutions?the ETF also included Innodata, a data engineering company, and Zscaler, a cybersecurity company.

Kim Seungcheol, Head of ETF Investment Division at NH-Amundi Asset Management, said, "Although it has been only a month and a half since the ETF was listed, we are actively responding to market changes," and added, "As profitability has become as important as growth for AI companies, we will pursue long-term returns based on even more thorough analysis."

NH-Amundi Asset Management has also distributed the "Physical AI Investment Guidebook," which serves as a guide for investing in 'Physical AI,' a next-generation growth engine. The company is running an event in which participants who watch the HANARO Physical AI Investment Guidebook Shorts, verify their participation, and answer related quizzes can win prizes through a draw.
