One Piece Collaboration Festival Until August 24
One Piece Themed Zones, Events, and Merchandise
Special Night Parade and More Exclusive Content
Everland will host the "Water Festival," a summer event themed around refreshing water in collaboration with the globally popular anime One Piece, from June 20 to August 24, spanning more than two months.
On June 16, Everland, operated by Samsung C&T Resort Division, announced that for the first time in Korea, it will introduce a large-scale outdoor themed area where visitors can experience a variety of One Piece collaboration content, including character photo zones, participatory events, food, and merchandise.
One Piece, which tells the epic adventure story of Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates who dream of becoming the Pirate King, is an anime series that enjoys immense popularity not only in Korea but also worldwide.
For the summer festival, Everland has set up three massive water experience zones where visitors can cool off and have fun with water all day long.
First, at the Four Seasons Garden, which has been transformed into a pirate village using the One Piece IP this summer, guests can become members of the Straw Hat Pirates and enjoy water experience content where they can shoot, get hit by, and be soaked by water.
In the center, there are photo spots such as a giant pirate ship preparing to set sail and a rocky island, and a 5-meter-tall Chopper character art sculpture (ABR) is installed at the windmill stage. Throughout the garden, themed zones and rest areas reflecting the One Piece universe are arranged.
There are also water carnival game zones inspired by character stories from One Piece, such as Luffy's Gum-Gum Water Gun and Zoro's Three-Sword Style Slash, as well as on-site participatory events like treasure hunts and random stick draws, where visitors can win One Piece merchandise on a first-come, first-served basis. All Everland visitors can participate in these events for free.
On the special stage at the Four Seasons Garden, the "Skulls Pirate Crew Adventure" performance, which tells the story of pirates searching for legendary treasure, will be held twice a day during the festival. During the show, water will be shot from water cannons installed on-site, and water gun battles with the audience will provide a refreshing water experience.
The Four Seasons Garden Water Cannon Show, where water cannons are fired in sync with pirate-themed music, will be held four times a day. In the water spray play zone decorated with One Piece characters, water will continuously pour down without pause.
For those seeking an even more thrilling water experience, Alpine Village, which opened early on June 6 due to the early heat, is available.
The highlight of Alpine Village, which has been transformed into a playground for the One Piece Junior Pirates, is the newly introduced activity slide "Water Buster" this summer.
It consists of 14 lanes in two types. On the air-bounce style Splash Slide, guests can sit on a tube and, after a steep 45-degree drop, race down a 110-meter-long water slope.
On the rail slide, where sledding is available year-round, guests can ride a wheeled sled down a 90-meter-long sloped rail.
Next to the entrance of Water Buster, there is a water playground with a water tunnel spraying water, which can be used freely. There are also changing rooms and rest areas for guests to change out of wet clothes, as well as a photo zone featuring iconic scenes from One Piece.
The water show "Shooting Water Fun Season 2," famous for its performances that soak the entire body with water from all directions, will be held twice daily at Carnival Square. After the show, all performers and audience members come out into the square to enjoy an after-show party, dancing and playing together to exciting music while getting splashed with water.
In addition, restaurants and street snack stands such as Holland Village and Alps Kuche, as well as merchandise shops, will be transformed into One Piece character-themed spaces. A variety of One Piece collaboration menu items and merchandise will be offered, including Pirate King Plate, Luffy's Cartoon Meat, and Jinbe's Blue Bubble Ade.
For guests looking to avoid the midday summer heat and enjoy nighttime outings, there are also a variety of special "Exciting Summer Night" contents. The "Moonlight Parade," featuring one million LED lights, will march through the streets, and the multimedia fireworks show "Jukebox Let's Dance," combining thousands of fireworks, video, lighting, and special effects, will also be presented.
During the peak summer vacation season from late July to early August, additional events such as the water DJ show "Bam Bam Summer Night" and the "Fireflies on a Midsummer Night" experience program will be held. Detailed information about Everland's summer festival "Water Festival" can be found on the official website.
Meanwhile, Everland's water park, Caribbean Bay, also kicked off its "Summer Festival" on June 13, offering a variety of One Piece collaboration content. Starting July 4, a special event will allow guests who visit Caribbean Bay to enter Everland for free in the afternoon of the same day, making it possible to enjoy One Piece collaboration content at both parks.
