The 2025 Daegu Disabled Persons Job Fair is jointly organized by the Daegu Regional Headquarters of the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities and the Daegu Association of the Korea Association of Welfare Institutions for the Disabled. The event aims to provide employment and recruitment opportunities by connecting local unemployed people with disabilities and soon-to-be graduates of special education schools with companies that wish to hire people with disabilities.

This event will feature the participation of 25 companies, offering job seekers a range of employment services from document screening to interviews for various positions, including production and manufacturing, service, and office assistance roles.

In addition, the event will provide customized interview support based on disability type, employment information, sign language interpreters, and side events such as fan making and mosquito repellent making.

At last year's job fair for people with disabilities, 350 people with disabilities were given on-site interview opportunities, and 40 people secured employment, making it a meaningful occasion.

Kim Taeun, Director of Health and Welfare at Daegu Metropolitan Government, stated, "We expect that this job fair will expand employment opportunities for people with disabilities," and added, "Furthermore, we hope that it will serve as an opportunity to improve social awareness of people with disabilities and to encourage companies' willingness to hire, thereby revitalizing employment for people with disabilities."
