iM Securities Accelerates Retail Competency Enhancement... "Fostering Retirement Specialists"

iM Securities is currently conducting a "Pension Competency Enhancement Training" program to strengthen expertise in pension-related services. With the onset of an aging society, investors' interest in pension asset management is increasing, and the company aims to offer specialized retirement solutions by enhancing employees' pension consulting capabilities.

In February and April of this year, the company provided both basic and practical pension training to all branch employees. The training covered a range of topics, including a refresher on retirement pensions and pension savings, trading of ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds), pension planning, and tax-saving strategies using pensions, all with the aim of improving the capabilities of all sales personnel.

On June 10, the company held advanced pension training for pension managers at each branch, focusing on real-life case studies for pension portfolio construction, pension planning and withdrawal simulations, retirement pension sales strategies, and VIP retirement solutions. In the third quarter, iM Securities plans to conduct feedback sessions such as sharing outstanding sales cases among employees and case studies on various pension planning scenarios. Through continuous and consistent training activities, the company aims to nurture retirement specialists at each branch.

Additionally, iM Securities is fostering a culture of self-directed learning within the company by operating an internal investment study group called "iM Alpha Lab." This study group operates twice a year, in the first and second halves. The first half session began on June 2, and the group consists of approximately 20 employees interested in investment learning.

The program will include a total of nine online and offline lectures and study sessions covering topics such as introductions to global investment tools, ETF investment strategies, and ways to utilize ChatGPT in investment. Through learning and research in various fields, the company aims to help employees develop their own investment philosophies and enhance their investment insights.

An iM Securities representative stated, "Strengthening employee capabilities is essential to providing high-quality asset management services to investors," and added, "We will continue to offer effective investment consulting services through ongoing and diverse competency enhancement activities."
