Comprehensive entertainment company NSE&M announced on the 16th that it is accelerating organizational innovation and securing future growth engines.
NSE&M is focusing on management efficiency by reorganizing its entertainment and content production divisions for greater efficiency as part of company-wide structural improvements, and by restructuring its management business.
In the new business sector, tangible results are expected. Starting this month, the company is launching new businesses related to meat distribution and branding, and is also preparing for the release of the film "Informant," which was postponed last year.
Additionally, the domestic fashion brand "TENITZ" business is on the verge of signing contracts with leading conglomerates, which is expected to lead to a substantial increase in sales. Through these efforts, the company aims to return to profitability and improve its financial structure, ultimately positioning itself as a global comprehensive entertainment company.
NSE&M is also making a full-scale entry into the artificial intelligence (AI)-based entertainment business. On June 2, at the Seoul Plaza Hotel, the company signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Diplomatic Culture Club for "AI cultural content development and global promotion." Based on this agreement, NSE&M plans to accelerate the creation of a new industrial ecosystem that fuses AI and entertainment. In particular, with the launch of the new government, expectations for AI policies and the cultural content industry are rising, creating a positive atmosphere across the related industries.
The company is also accelerating its push into the global market. Recently, it visited Chongqing, China, and signed an MOU with the local government, speeding up its entry into the Chinese market in line with the lifting of the Hallyu ban. This agreement is significant as it marks the first official cooperation between Korea and China since the ban, establishing a foothold for entry into the Chinese media and content market.
NSE&M plans to pursue various projects in collaboration with the local government and major platforms, including joint Korea-China content production, large-scale performance and cultural industry project development, and artist exchanges. Concerts and cultural performances organized by Chongqing City featuring NSE&M artists are also scheduled for next month and October.
The company also plans to strengthen marketing and business cooperation by linking up with Chinese e-commerce platforms, such as JD.com, known as the "Amazon of China."
An NSE&M representative stated, "Through these structural improvements and our dual-track strategy for new businesses, we will secure key drivers for the company's sustainable growth and enhanced global competitiveness."
