The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is recruiting companies to participate in the "Japan Open Innovation Program" until June 30, in order to help local startups make a leap onto the global stage.
The Japan Open Innovation Program is a project that provides practical opportunities to connect with major and mid-sized Japanese companies and investors through a systematic localization strategy and customized acceleration targeting the Japanese market.
Eligible applicants are startups headquartered in Gyeonggi-do that have been established for less than seven years; for companies in new industries, the eligibility extends up to ten years. Ten promising companies in technology industries such as digital transformation (DX), Internet of Things (IoT), bio, and fintech will be selected through document screening and presentation evaluation.
