This year's competition featured a Signature Record category, a Signature Crew category for families and colleagues to participate together, and an Extreme Challenge category where participants climbed the 63 Building a total of six times. A total of 800 people took part in the event.

This year, a new Challenge category was introduced under the concept of 'Reaching the World's Highest Heights from the 63 Building.' In the men's division, Ma Sungmin (41 years old, Mokpo, Jeonnam) won with a time of 50 minutes and 22 seconds. In the women's division, Hong Yubin (37 years old, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul) took first place with a time of 57 minutes and 15 seconds.

Ma Sungmin, the men's winner of the Challenge category, said, "I came all the way from Mokpo to Seoul to take on a new challenge," and added, "I am honored to be the first winner of the Challenge category, which involves climbing the 63 Building six times."

In the men's Signature Record category, Lee Eunchan (29 years old, Namdong-gu, Incheon) won with a time of 8 minutes and 14 seconds. The women's winner, Bae Subin (24 years old, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul), finished in 11 minutes and 3 seconds. The fastest records to date are 7 minutes and 15 seconds for men, and 9 minutes and 14 seconds for women.

Participants dressed as unique movie, comic, and game characters also appeared in the race. The Best Dresser award went to Kim Eunkyung (32 years old, Yongin, Gyeonggi), who participated in a Wonder Woman costume.

Families, friends, and couples participating in the Signature Crew category demonstrated teamwork by pushing and pulling each other up the stairs together.

This year's event drew attention as participants ranged from the youngest, an 8-year-old child, to seniors in their 70s. All finishers received commemorative medals engraved with their individual times, allowing them to remember their vertical marathon experience.

Choi Hyunkyung, Head of Brand Strategy at Hanwha Life, said, "The Hanwha Life Signature 63 Run has been a representative citizen festival enjoyed by people of all ages since 1995," and added, "This year, we introduced the Challenge category to inspire a spirit of challenge at the 63 Building, which is a symbol of Korea's skyscrapers."
