On June 15, the Eastern Gyeongnam Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs held the "Nara Sarang Adventure with Robot Land" event at Robot Land to mark the Month of Patriots and Veterans. The event was designed to help youth and families reflect on the meaning of national defense and patriotism and to experience the value of loving one's country.
The event was organized in cooperation with external organizations such as Robot Land, the Urinuri Youth Culture Center, and Changwon City, and featured a variety of programs centered on national defense themes. The main programs included hands-on booths where participants could make Taegeukgi pinwheels, Nara Sarang sun caps, Nara Sarang headbands, and Taegeuk bracelets. These activities received an enthusiastic response from children and family visitors.
Additionally, there were promotional booths for the 80th anniversary of Liberation and the "Patriots and Veterans for All Dream" campaign, as well as a photo exhibition highlighting the historical significance of the Masan Defense Battle, which protected Masan and the provisional capital Busan during the Korean War. These efforts helped convey historical facts more accessibly to citizens and contributed to building a consensus on the value of honoring patriots and veterans.
Kim Sangwoo, head of the regional office, stated, "We will continue to strive to realize 'Patriots and Veterans for All' through various experiential programs that allow everyone to experience honoring patriots and veterans in their daily lives."
