Palestinians residing in South Korea held a rally criticizing Israel for its sudden airstrike on Iran.
On June 15, Palestinians living in Korea attended the 88th rally held in front of Kyobo Book Centre in Gwanghwamun, organized by the civic group "People in Solidarity with Palestinians," and called for Israel to halt its attacks on Iran.
The participants also criticized Israel's blockade of the Gaza Strip, expressed support for the activists aboard the Freedom Flotilla's vessel Madeleine, which was seized off the coast of Gaza on June 9, and insisted that humanitarian aid be allowed in.
Approximately 100 people, including citizens who joined the rally, chanted slogans such as "Stop the genocide" and "Lift the blockade on Gaza." After the rally, they marched past the U.S. Embassy in Korea and continued to the area opposite the Israeli Embassy in Korea.
