It has been revealed that U.S. President Donald Trump earned approximately $600 million (about 820 billion KRW) in income last year.

On the 13th (local time), major foreign media outlets including CNN reported that the U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE) had released a report listing President Trump's income. President Trump generated income from golf clubs, licensing businesses, cryptocurrency, real estate revenue, and other venture businesses.


According to the disclosed data, President Trump earned $57.35 million (about 78.4 billion KRW) in tokens (blockchain-based assets) from World Liberty Financial (WLF), a virtual asset platform established by his eldest son Donald Trump Jr. and his second son Eric Trump in September last year. He also held $15.75 billion (about 21.5 trillion KRW) worth of tokens in this company.


President Trump was also confirmed to have generated at least $217.7 million (about 297.7 billion KRW) in revenue from three golf resorts in Florida?Jupiter, Doral, and West Palm Beach?and from the Mar-a-Lago members-only club. Among these, the Doral resort recorded the highest revenue. In addition, he earned $5 million (6.8 billion KRW) in licensing fees from a development project in Vietnam, $10 million (13.6 billion KRW) in development fees from a business in India, and $16 million (2.18 billion KRW) in licensing fees from a business in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).


Furthermore, President Trump also earned money through the sale of his own NFT products. He earned $1.3 million (1.7 billion KRW) from sales of the "Greenwood Bible," created in collaboration with country singer Lee Greenwood, $2.8 million (3.8 billion KRW) from the sale of "Trump Watches," $2.5 million (3.4 billion KRW) from the sale of Trump-branded sneakers and perfumes, and $1.16 million (1.58 billion KRW) from digital trading cards modeled after his likeness. However, foreign media noted that profits from $TRUMP, a meme coin launched by President Trump just before his inauguration in January, were not included. According to reports, fee income from $TRUMP is estimated at $320 million (437.6 billion KRW), but the distribution method has not been disclosed.


In addition, President Trump's income from interest and dividends earned through investments in asset management firm Blue Owl Capital, U.S. Treasury funds managed by Charles Schwab, and asset management company Invesco, among others, is estimated to be at least $12 million (1.64 billion KRW). Based on their own calculations, foreign media estimated President Trump's total assets to be more than $1.6 billion (2.19 trillion KRW).


Meanwhile, the report also revealed the income earned by First Lady Melania Trump. In July last year, Melania Trump received $475,000 (650 million KRW) for a speech delivered to conservative LGBTQ audiences in New York, and she earned about $217,000 (300 million KRW) from the sale of her own NFTs.
