Jilin Province Delegation Visits Korea... Korea-China Entrepreneurs Association Strengthens Bilateral Industrial Cooperation Provided by Korea-China Entrepreneurs Association

On June 11, the Korea-China Entrepreneurs Association (President Kim Hoon) and the delegation from Jilin Province, China (headed by Yang Andi, Vice Governor of the Jilin Provincial People’s Government), held a dinner and meeting to discuss ways to expand economic cooperation between the two countries.

The visiting delegation from Jilin Province was composed of a total of eight members, led by Yang Andi, Vice Governor of the Jilin Provincial People’s Government. The delegation included Zheng Gang, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office; Xu Tao, Chairperson of the Jilin Provincial Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade; Liu Baichun, Director of the Government Office; Yun Lu, Deputy Director of the Second Division of Foreign Investment Promotion, Department of Commerce; Wang Ke, Deputy Director of the Second Division of Foreign Investment Promotion, Department of Commerce; Peng Yao, Deputy Director of the Asia 1 Division, Foreign Affairs Office; and Yang Dan, Chief Interpreter and Director of the First Division, Foreign Affairs Office.

The Jilin Province delegation arrived in Korea on the morning of June 11. Their itinerary began with a visit to the Chinese Embassy in Korea, followed by visits to the Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Government Office and the Seosan Ginseng Industrial Complex. At the Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Government Office, they met with Vice Governor Jeon Hyungsik and others to discuss regional industrial exchange plans. They also toured the Seosan Ginseng Industrial Complex to examine the current state of Korea’s agricultural industry, with expectations for continued sustainable exchanges.

After returning to Seoul, the Jilin Province delegation attended a meeting and dinner with the Korea-China Entrepreneurs Association. The dinner was also attended by Kim Jeongil, President of the Korea-China Entrepreneurs Association, Kim Hoon, and other association officials. The participants focused on discussing practical cooperation measures, including mutual investment, revitalization of trade, and expansion of exchanges between companies.

The Korea-China Entrepreneurs Association, meanwhile, is a nonprofit social organization that, in April 2018, became the only group to be officially approved as a national organization under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, drawing significant attention from both the political and business sectors in Korea. The association has maintained ongoing exchanges and a friendly, cooperative relationship with Jilin Province.

Furthermore, under the principle of mutually beneficial cooperation and prosperity between Korea and China, the association strives to adapt to the changing international landscape, coexist with the times, maximize the effectiveness of both governments’ policies, and create the most effective and practical environment for cooperation in the fields of economy, finance, trade, and cultural exchange through resource integration and friendly collaboration.
