About 20 Employees Collect Marine Debris and Discarded Fishing Nets

On June 13, the Public Relations Office of Chungnam Province visited Namdang Port and Jukdo in Hongseong County to assist with local work and conduct environmental cleanup activities.
On the morning of the same day, about 20 employees from the Public Relations Office visited Namdang Port and cleaned the area around the harbor before heading to Jukdo.
On Jukdo, they contributed to improving the fishing village environment by collecting abandoned marine debris and discarded fishing nets.
Lee Jongpil, Director of the Public Relations Office, said, "I hope this volunteer work provides at least some help to the fishermen," and added, "We will continue to communicate with local communities and overcome challenges together through volunteer activities supporting agricultural and fishing villages."
