ENA's music variety show "House of Girls" will unveil the performances of 10 teams in its fourth episode, which highlights the hip-hop collaboration mission.
In the previous episode, the stages of Byu × The Quiett, Youngju × Kim Haon, Bamsaem × Homies, and Sian × Be'O were revealed first, receiving an enthusiastic response. In the upcoming fourth episode, the remaining six teams will perform for the first time, completing a total of 10 hip-hop collaboration stages.
This mission pairs top-tier domestic hip-hop artists with female solo musicians in one-on-one teams to co-create new songs and perform together on stage. The artists participate directly in every step of the process, including songwriting, composing, directing, and stage production, showcasing true musical collaboration that goes beyond simple featuring.
The six team pairings to be revealed in episode four are: Seori × Paul Blanco, Kisses × Uneducated Kid, Ara × Justhis, Yul × Lil Boi, Giselle × Changmo, and Yooa × Ash Island. A key point of interest in this mission is not only the results but also the "process." The show will candidly present behind-the-scenes stories, such as directing scenes in the practice and recording rooms, creative struggles and conflicts, and trial and error during stage preparation, providing viewers with a deeply immersive experience.
In the previous broadcast, four rappers?Changmo, Uneducated Kid, Ash Island, and Lil Boi?each appeared in turn to appeal to contestant Giselle, creating a scene reminiscent of a "hip-hop version of 'I Am Solo'," which drew significant attention.
Other highlights included The Quiett's meticulous gesture directing, the chemistry between Kim Haon and Youngju who led the stage despite their young age, the youngest members Be'O and Sian's custom sneakers date, and fans' speculation that the "ntd" concept featured in Bamsaem × Homies' stage was related to the Nintendo Switch 2. These diverse moments quickly became a hot topic on social networking services (SNS) after the broadcast. ENA's music variety show "House of Girls" airs every Friday at 11 p.m., and the new songs produced through the mission are released simultaneously on all music platforms at noon the following day.
