A Milestone for Digital-Based Classroom Innovation in Schools
Chungnam Office of Education held the "2nd Global Mini Forum with Google" for two days on December 13-14 at the Asan Kamco Human Resources Development Center.
The Chungnam Office of Education announced that it held the "2nd Global Mini Forum for Chungnam Teachers with Google" in collaboration with Google Korea (Google for Education) for two days on June 12 and 13 at the Asan Kamco Human Resources Development Center, targeting more than 400 teachers who applied from the province.
This forum was held as part of the "AI Education Activation" cooperation, based on the business agreement signed between the Chungnam Office of Education and Google for Education.
The forum included sessions on: strategies for lesson design utilizing generative artificial intelligence (AI) Gemini; exploring ways to reduce administrative workload using Google for Education; and Google's work culture.
Teachers who participated in the forum will be provided with access to Google classroom tools programs.
Superintendent Kim Ji-cheol said, "For this 2nd forum, more than 400 teachers applied for the originally planned 300 spots, which demonstrates the high level of interest and willingness to participate in digital education among teachers." He added, "Moving forward, we will continue to promote practical and innovative future education in Chungnam through public-private cooperation based on teacher initiative."
