Bando Construction announced on June 13 that it held its in-house Best Practices in Risk Assessment Competition and a safety meeting with partner companies.

Bando Construction has been aiming for zero serious accidents for seven consecutive years. In particular, the company continues to expand various forms of communication with partner companies and to strengthen internal and external safety management.

This competition began last month with the submission of written best practice cases from each site. The first round of judging was conducted by assigning the CEO, executives, site managers, and those responsible for each trade as judges. After the written submissions were reviewed, three sites were selected through a final round: one site as the grand prize winner and two sites as excellence award winners. The sites recognized in this in-house Best Practices in Risk Assessment Competition will receive internal rewards and will also be submitted to the Best Practices Presentation Competition organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

Bando Construction is also continuing efforts to strengthen safety with its partner companies. Jung Ryul Lee, Head of Construction Division at Bando Construction, conducted heat illness prevention training and held a meeting with partner companies to enhance on-site safety ahead of the hot season.

Lee visited the Goyang Janghang Kaib Eubora site, emphasizing the importance of protecting workers' health and conducting safety inspections, and urged thorough preparation for foreseeable risks. He also held a meeting with site managers from partner companies to share key details of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act and to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation for on-site safety management systems.

Lee stated, "When the hot season arrives, thorough preparation for health and safety accidents is essential to ensure proper working conditions for on-site workers," and added, "Bando Construction will continue to practice win-win and safety management, not only for our employees but also in partnership with those who work alongside us on site."
