Awards Presented to 19 Outstanding Distribution Cases at the '2025 Distribution Project Performance Sharing Meeting'

The Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Kim Byungjun) held the '2025 Distribution Project Performance Sharing Meeting' on the afternoon of the 12th at the Jung-gu Community Chest of Korea Building.
This year, out of a total of 268 recommended distribution cases nationwide, 19 were selected as outstanding cases based on diversity and equity, innovation, project performance and ripple effect, systematic structure and rationality, and budget feasibility. The grand prize at the '2025 Community Chest of Korea Distribution Project Performance Sharing Meeting' was awarded to the Busan Mandeok Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, which carried out a public-private-academic cooperation project to identify families in need of care early and establish a care system within the local community. The top excellence awards went to the Yeosu Foreign Workers' Cultural Center, which operates a human rights center for foreigners in island villages, and Green Light, which held a barrier-free app development contest for the socially vulnerable, respectively.

At this year's Performance Sharing Meeting, the Community Chest of Korea piloted and distributed a 'Certificate of Outstanding Case Selection' sticker to the selected organizations, aiming to widely publicize the achievements of outstanding distribution cases in the community and to ensure that exemplary cases of sharing continue to be discovered and spread in local communities.
Lee Jungyun, Head of the Sharing Project Division at the Community Chest of Korea, stated, "This was a valuable occasion to share the values and achievements of sharing that each of us has quietly practiced over the past year," and added, "As a reliable partner in the welfare field, the Community Chest of Korea will continue to strive for positive change in the community without wavering."
The Community Chest of Korea supports its distribution projects with more than 700 billion won annually, based on welfare needs rooted in social agendas. In 2024, the scale of support for distribution projects amounts to 789.6 billion won.
