The water playgrounds opening this time are located in a total of six places: Maebawi Children's Park, Daejo Children's Park, Eunpyeong Peace Park, and Gusan-dong Village Park, which were established in 2023, as well as Sindo Neighborhood Park and Sinhung Children's Park, which were created last year. Sindo Neighborhood Park and Sinhung Children's Park feature water-friendly spaces where visitors can dip their feet and relax, making it possible for guardians and young children to enjoy water play together.

The playgrounds will be open daily from noon to 5 p.m. Water play will be available for 50 minutes every hour, followed by a 10-minute break. The facilities will be closed every Monday for inspection and cleaning, and operations may be adjusted depending on weather conditions such as rain. During the elementary school summer vacation period, from July 28 to August 17, the playgrounds will be open every day. Outside of this period, they will operate only on weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays.

The playgrounds are open to children aged 13 and under, and children aged 7 and under may enter only when accompanied by a guardian. Eunpyeong-gu will replace the water (tap water) once a day and conduct water quality tests at least once every two weeks. Additionally, safety personnel who have completed professional training will be stationed at each site.

Kim Mikyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, stated, "We have completed all preparations so that residents can enjoy water activities close to home again this summer," and added, "I hope our residents will have a refreshing summer with their families at the water playgrounds."
