The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation is accepting applications for "Job Excellent Companies" and "Youth-Friendly Workplaces" until June 27.
The foundation will present selected companies with a certificate and a plaque, and grant them 29 benefits, including extra points for SME development funds and a deferment of local tax audits. Additionally, selected companies will be eligible to apply for the following year’s employment environment improvement project (up to 20 million KRW). The certification is valid for two years from the date of issuance, and may be extended once for an additional two years if requirements such as job growth rate are met.
The foundation will select around 60 companies through document screening, on-site inspections, and evaluation by the selection committee. Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have been located and settled in the province for at least three years. Companies may apply if, over the past year, they have achieved an average job growth rate of at least 10% and an average increase of at least five employees, or if they have achieved an average job growth rate of at least 10% and an average increase of at least five employees, or if they have achieved an average increase of at least ten employees over the past year.
Son Ilkwon, Head of the Western Business Headquarters at the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, stated, "The role of companies is the most important in job creation. Accordingly, we will support the continuous job creation and growth of companies in Gyeonggi-do."
