It inhabits dense forests and parks, building nests and raising new life each breeding season. This annual ecological activity symbolizes the cycle of nature and the restoration of daily life.

This photograph was taken during the '2025 Gwangju Urban Bird Census (Summer)', a survey being conducted by the Gwangju Federation for Environmental Movements and Professor Sung Hacheol's team from the Department of Biology at Chonnam National University, together with a citizen survey group. The survey period for 15 urban areas is from June 1 to June 15.
