at the Handeul Hub Center

Baek Samjong, Deputy Governor of Hamyang County in South Gyeongsang Province, visited four nonstop integrated care facilities located within the Urban Regeneration Handeul Hub Center?including the Shared Childcare Center, Toy Library, Together Care Center, and After-school Youth Academy?to inspect their operations.

During the inspection, he had a meaningful discussion with relevant personnel regarding the operational status and usage of the facilities since their opening last year, listened to difficulties faced, and exchanged in-depth opinions on future improvement measures.

The Handeul Hub Center is recognized as Hamyang County's representative integrated care space, providing comprehensive care throughout the entire life cycle from infants to children and adolescents. Since its opening, it has been credited with making a tangible contribution to addressing gaps in childcare and care services within the region.

Deputy Governor Baek Samjong stated, "The integrated care system, which enables childcare and care services to be provided in one place, brings great satisfaction to Hamyang County residents and contributes to creating a child-friendly environment. Going forward, more meticulous budget support is needed to discover diverse programs and provide high-quality services."

The Social Welfare Division of Hamyang County plans to expand program budgets and develop operational support measures in the future, with the goal of continuously improving the care centers so that they can evolve beyond simple protective spaces into high-quality integrated care spaces that offer children a variety of experiences and learning opportunities.
