Joo Kyuil, Mayor of Jinju, visited the event site around Chojon Park to inspect the preparations ahead of the '2025 Korea Garden Industry Expo,' which is scheduled to open on June 13.
The 2025 Korea Garden Industry Expo will be held for ten days from June 13 to June 22 in the Chojon Park area. The event will comprehensively showcase gardens, culture, industry, and art. Under the theme "Life with Gardens: Practical Gardens in Everyday Life," the expo will present a wide range of garden models that can be realized in daily life, such as indoor gardens and weekend farm-style gardens.
During the on-site inspection, the overall situation of each zone was reviewed, including the Citizen Gardener Village Zone, Garden Exhibition Zone, Garden Industry Exhibition Zone, and Indoor Gymnasium Zone. The inspection focused on ensuring that preparations were thorough, with the highest priority placed on the convenience and safety of visitors to the event.
Joo Kyuil, Mayor of Jinju, encouraged the staff working hard on preparations at the site and instructed them to immediately address any shortcomings or deficiencies. He stated, "I hope that the Korea Garden Industry Expo held in Jinju this year will take place safely, with not a single safety accident, and that everyone will be able to enjoy the event. I ask that you do your utmost until the very end to ensure the successful conclusion of the expo."
