On Thursday, June 12, most regions nationwide are expected to be mostly clear, while the Jeolla region, Gyeongnam region, and Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy.
Rain is expected to begin on Jeju Island from the late dawn hours. The expected precipitation through June 13 is 20 to 60 mm, with some areas possibly exceeding 80 mm.
The morning low temperatures are forecast to range from 14 to 20 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs are expected to be between 23 and 31 degrees Celsius.
In particular, daytime temperatures in the inland areas of central Korea, North Jeolla, and North Gyeongsang are expected to rise above 30 degrees Celsius, resulting in hot conditions. In the inland areas of central Korea and North Gyeongsang, the temperature difference between day and night will be around 15 degrees Celsius, so caution is advised for health management.
Fine dust concentrations nationwide are expected to remain at 'Good' to 'Moderate' levels.
Sea fog may occur in the southern sea and waters around Jeju Island, while the far southern waters of Jeju and the far eastern waters of the southern sea may experience gusty winds, thunder, and lightning.
Wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the coastal waters of the East Sea, and 0.5 meters in the coastal waters of the West Sea and South Sea.
In the offshore areas (within approximately 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are forecast to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea.
