Heo Youngman's Signature Work "Beat" to Be Adapted into 10-Episode Drama Series

On June 11, the newly established production company Alt Studio announced that its first project will be a 10-episode drama series based on "Beat." "Beat" is one of Heo's signature works, serialized in Young Champ from 1994 to 1995. The story captures the anger, confusion, frustration, and growing pains of the youth of that era. During its serialization, it achieved cumulative sales of over 1 million copies, gaining immense popularity. In 1997, it was also adapted into a film of the same name starring Jung Woosung and Ko Soyoung.

Alt Studio is a content studio founded by a team of producers who previously worked together on projects such as "Taxi Driver 1, 2," "My ID is Gangnam Beauty," and "A Good Day to Be a Dog." The first project, "Beat," is scheduled to be released in the first half of next year.
