"Striving to Bring Real Change to the Local Community"
People Power Party lawmaker Park Deokhum (representing Boeun, Okcheon, Yeongdong, and Goeisan counties) announced on June 11 that he received the Model Legislative Award at the '2025 Challenge Festival,' which was hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Council and the Challenge Koreans Headquarters, and sponsored by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
According to Park Deokhum's office, the '2025 Challenge Festival' is an event that selects and awards individuals who have demonstrated a spirit of challenge and brought about positive change in society from various sectors and backgrounds. This year, in particular, the festival was organized to deliver a message of national unity and to heal political, generational, and regional conflicts that have arisen after the election.
Park Deokhum is recognized for his dedication to local community development, including securing projects and budgets for his constituency, as a four-term lawmaker from the 19th to the 22nd National Assembly. He has also focused his legislative activities on increasing the income of farmers and fishermen as a member of the Agriculture, Food, Rural Affairs, Oceans and Fisheries Committee.
Park Deokhum stated, "I have always devoted myself to legislative activities for the development of the four southeastern counties in my constituency, and I am very honored and grateful to receive such a significant award. I will continue to sincerely communicate with local residents and strive even harder to bring about real change in the community."
