Gyeongnam Information University Holds On-Site Education Agreement and Nail Equipment Donation Ceremony with Posh Nail

On June 9, Gyeongnam Information University held an on-site integrated education agreement ceremony and a donation event for practical training equipment with Posh Nail (CEO Kim Gisang), a leading domestic nail brand, at the university's IT building.

The ceremony was attended by Kim Gisang, CEO of Posh Nail, Kim Jinseop, Head of the Southern Business Division, Kim Taesang, President of Gyeongnam Information University, and other university officials.


Through the agreement, the two institutions discussed various cooperation measures to realize an on-site-focused education model, including strengthening practical training, employment linkage, and dispatching experts for education.


At the subsequent donation ceremony, nail products worth 20 million won were donated to enhance student practical training.


In addition, Kim Gisang, CEO of Posh Nail, gave a special lecture on "The Current State and Future Trends of the K-Nail Industry," providing students with valuable insights and up-to-date information from the industry to help guide their career paths.


Park Sehee, head of the Department of K-Beauty Skin and Nail, stated, "Through this agreement with a leading domestic nail brand, our students have established a foundation for improving practical skills and implementing field-oriented education. We will continue to expand various industry-academia cooperation programs so that education and the industry can grow together."


The newly established "Nail Art Major" is the first and only officially launched program in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region, leading local beauty education. Starting in the 2026 academic year, the Department of K-Beauty Skin and Nail and the Department of K-Beauty Health will be integrated and reorganized as the "Global K-Beauty Department," which will recruit 160 new students for majors in skin, nail, adult learners, and international students.
