Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation and Future Economy Education Network Sign Agreement on "Baby Boomer Financial Counseling and Education"

On June 11, the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation signed a business agreement with the Future Economy Education Network Corporation at the Gyeonggi Baby Boomer Light Job Center to support financial counseling and financial education for baby boomers.

This agreement was established to help the baby boomer generation in Gyeonggi-do achieve economic independence and to support stable retirement preparation by strengthening their financial capabilities.

The purpose is to provide practical counseling and education to financially vulnerable groups with limited access to information.

Under the agreement, the Future Economy Education Network Corporation will provide credit counseling and crisis management mentoring for baby boomers, as well as host special lectures on retirement preparation and financial management.

Credit counseling will take place every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Gyeonggi Baby Boomer Light Job Center (10th floor, Next Generation Convergence Technology Institute). Counseling will be available to both pre-registered participants and walk-ins. Financial education sessions will begin on June 26, with participants recruited through advance registration.

The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation expects that this agreement will help prevent credit issues among middle-aged and older adults in the province at an early stage and strengthen the foundation for retirement financial planning.

Son Ilkwon, Head of the Western Business Division at the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, said, "Through this agreement, we hope to provide customized financial counseling and financial education to baby boomers in the province, while also enabling them to receive tangible financial welfare benefits."
