Promise to Deliver Top Quality and Maximize the Value of Front Zone 1
"Benefits That Members Can Truly Experience Through Trust and Quality"
Full Responsibility for 4 Trillion Won Project Financing and Reduced Construction Costs... "High-End Strategy Realized"
POSCO E&C, which has entered the bidding competition for the Yongsan Maintenance Depot Front Zone 1 project in Seoul, demonstrated its strong commitment through an on-site visit by President Jung Heemin.

According to POSCO E&C on June 11, President Jung visited the promotional center and project site for the redevelopment and maintenance of Yongsan Front Zone 1 in Seoul on June 10. He stated, "We will deliver the highest quality based on honesty and trust," and added, "We will ensure the proposed project plan is realized and provide tangible benefits that members can truly experience."
On this day, President Jung met directly with the association members to explain POSCO E&C's 'high-end strategy' and differentiated project conditions. He emphasized, "With the goal of building the most luxurious landmark in Yongsan, we will leverage all of our company's capabilities and experience," and stressed that the high-end brand 'Autier' will transform Front Zone 1 into a truly premium residential complex.
POSCO E&C proposed naming the complex 'Autier Yongsan,' a high-end brand, and introduced a specialized design with an emphasis on larger unit sizes. The plan consists of a total of 280 units, which is 49 more than the association's proposal. Of these, 11 units will be 200 square meter penthouses. Sub-penthouses will also be placed on the upper floors, directly targeting demand for luxury residences.
The premium strategy extends to exterior and landscaping design as well. In collaboration with global design firm UNStudio, POSCO E&C has developed a design that simultaneously satisfies views, aesthetics, and regulatory approvals. In partnership with AI view analysis company Ten Eleven, more than 12,000 simulations were conducted to maximize views of the Han River. Landscaping was designed by Kim Youngjun, a participant in the world's top three garden shows, further enhancing the quality of the premium complex.
POSCO E&C announced that, based on its A+ credit rating, it will take full responsibility for securing the project cost, which amounts to 4 trillion won. In addition, the company plans to self-finance 1.5 trillion won in project acceleration funds. By reducing construction costs by 45.9 billion won compared to the association's plan, the financial burden on members has also been eased. Notably, there will be no burden from construction cost inflation for 20 months after bidding, and construction payments will be deferred for 18 months after groundbreaking, ensuring stable project operation. Through agreements with the five major first-tier banks, unprecedented financial terms such as loans at the lowest interest rates are also available.
For transparent verification of construction costs, POSCO E&C has made the bidding documents and design drawings available at the association's office. The company emphasized, "Based on trust, quality, and feasibility, we will develop Yongsan Front Zone 1 into the highest-end landmark."
