Gwangju University announced on June 11 that it recently signed a mutual exchange and cooperation agreement with the Army Noncommissioned Officer Academy to achieve win-win development and educational value for both institutions.


On the same day, a delegation from Gwangju University, including President Kim Dongjin, visited the Army Noncommissioned Officer Academy located in Iksan, North Jeolla Province, and signed the agreement between the two institutions. The agreement includes commitments to ▲strengthen teaching and learning capabilities, ▲exchange information on educational innovation, and ▲provide faculty support and online content for each noncommissioned officer training program.


The two institutions also agreed to ▲support customized talent donation and programs for military families, and ▲provide special lectures by prominent figures to foster psychological counseling and liberal arts education for noncommissioned officers.


President Kim Dongjin stated, "We will do our utmost to support the development of human and material educational infrastructure at the university to help noncommissioned officers, who will serve on the front lines of national defense, develop their potential capabilities." He emphasized, "Let us create a model for win-win development between the military and academia through multi-faceted cooperation, including exchanges of events between the two institutions."
