Through this agreement, the two institutions have decided to cooperate to ensure prompt and professional medical care and treatment for children who are victims or suspected victims of abuse.

Anseong Hospital operates 15 medical departments, including emergency medicine and pediatrics. With its emergency room open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the hospital is able to provide rapid treatment for abused children in the Anseong area. The two institutions have also agreed to support medical expenses for abused children and to provide priority medical care and diagnosis even when a legal guardian is not present.

Kim Bora, mayor of Anseong City, stated, "Through this agreement, we will do our utmost to strengthen the public-private cooperation system and create an environment where children can grow up safely in the local community."

Meanwhile, Anseong City is currently implementing a range of measures to prevent child abuse and protect children, including the deployment of dedicated child abuse response officials, the establishment of a 24-hour abuse reporting system, and the operation of a joint response team for child abuse cases. In July 2021, the city opened a shelter for abused girls, and in January of this year, it established a specialized child protection agency.
