The 'Urban Wind Forest Trail' was created to achieve carbon neutrality, adapt to climate change, reduce fine dust, and mitigate the urban heat island effect. It also aims to improve the urban landscape and provide citizens with an eco-friendly space for walking and relaxation.

The Geumseokcheon Urban Wind Forest Trail stretches for a total length of 1 kilometer along both banks, with 551 metasequoia trees, 217 acer pseudosieboldianum trees, 56 cherry blossom trees, 6,320 nandina domestica shrubs, and 18,680 viburnum opulus shrubs planted. In addition, various amenities such as foot-washing stations for barefoot walking, pergolas, and benches have been installed for relaxation.

Kim Bora, Mayor of Anseong City, said, "The Urban Wind Forest Trail will serve as a walking path within the city and as a space to respond to climate change, helping to protect both citizens' health and the environment."
