The Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Bae Byungil) and Ajin Industrial Co., Ltd. (CEO Seo Jungho) announced on the 11th that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to promote employment opportunities for high school graduates in the automotive parts manufacturing industry.
The Korea Student Aid Foundation is a quasi-governmental institution under the Ministry of Education, established in 2009 to provide professional and comprehensive financial aid for higher education, ensuring that anyone can access educational opportunities based on their will and ability, regardless of economic circumstances. With an annual budget exceeding 11 trillion won, the foundation implements a variety of programs to nurture future talent, including national scholarships, student loans, national excellence scholarships, work-study scholarships, donations, and mentoring.
Since 2020, the foundation has operated the Central Employment Support Center, established by the Ministry of Education to create growth pathways for high school graduates that reflect their aptitudes and capabilities. The foundation carries out initiatives to promote employment among high school graduates and collaborates with 18 regional employment support centers, vocational high schools, and related organizations to discover quality jobs nationwide and continuously improve the hiring environment for high school graduates.
Through the Korea Student Aid Foundation-Ajin Industrial MOU, the two organizations plan to cooperate to nurture practical talent required in the manufacturing sector and support the early entry of young people into society. The Korea Student Aid Foundation will support outstanding talent entering the automotive parts manufacturing industry by utilizing its pool of high school graduates, while Ajin Industrial will actively promote on-site job training and the recruitment of high school graduate talent.
Bae Byungil, Chairman of the Korea Student Aid Foundation, stated, "We will continue to provide unwavering support so that high school graduates can become key players in manufacturing-based industries." Seo Jungho, CEO of Ajin Industrial, added, "We will offer young people meaningful opportunities for growth so they can fully demonstrate their abilities in the automotive parts industry."
