Gyeonggi Province to Recruit 100 Citizen Auditors

Gyeonggi Province is recruiting 100 citizen auditors.

On June 11, Gyeonggi Provincial Government announced that it will publicly recruit the "4th Citizen Auditors" until 6:00 p.m. on June 24, in order to ensure a fairer and more transparent audit administration. The total number of recruits is 100, and the positions are divided among 12 fields, including human resources and labor, information technology, urban civil engineering, women’s welfare, agriculture, forestry and animal affairs, and industrial safety.

Gyeonggi Provincial Government plans to select citizen auditors by considering region, gender, and age in order to reflect diverse resident opinions in a balanced manner.

In particular, this recruitment will expand the number of auditors in the information and communications sector to address new audit demands arising from the digital transformation of society and to focus on data-based audits. To reduce the gap in expertise between regions due to competition rates, the selection areas will be divided into two regions (southern and northern) for recruitment purposes.
