Yangsan City Agricultural and Livestock Cooperative Executives Donate 10 Million Won in Hometown Love Donations to Miryang City

Laying the Foundation for Trust and Cooperation Between Regions

On June 11, Miryang City announced that four executives from the Yangsan City Agricultural and Livestock Cooperative visited the city hall and donated 10 million won in Hometown Love Donations, which had been raised by about 100 executives and employees.


The donation ceremony was attended by Joo Seyoun, Head of the Yangsan City Branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation; Kang Yunhak, Chairman of the Yangsan City Agricultural and Livestock Cooperative Steering Committee; Kwon Taewon, Head of the Miryang City Branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation; and Kang Junghwan, Chairman of the Miryang City Agricultural and Livestock Cooperative Steering Committee, reaffirming their commitment to regional cooperation.

The agricultural and livestock cooperatives of the two regions donated 15 million won to each other in 2023 and 10.3 million won in 2024. They plan to continue mutual donations and seek further ways to cooperate and achieve mutual growth in the future.


Joo Seyoun, Head of the Yangsan City Branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, said, "I believe this donation is a meaningful practice that goes beyond simple sharing, as it lays the foundation for trust and cooperation between regions. I hope the Hometown Love Donation program will become more widespread and serve as an opportunity for rural and urban areas to grow together."


Mayor Ahn Byunggu stated, "I would like to express my deep gratitude to the executives and employees of the Yangsan City Agricultural and Livestock Cooperative for participating in the Hometown Love Donation for three consecutive years. I hope this donation will serve as a stepping stone for even stronger cooperation between the two local governments, and I look forward to continued exchanges and participation in the future."
