Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Pilho Song) announced on June 11 that it has signed a business agreement with Dongin Law Firm to support legal services in the field of disaster relief and to promote a culture of sharing for the support of disaster victims.
Under this agreement, the two organizations will cooperate in nine areas, including: ▲ fundraising activities for disaster victims, ▲ legal support activities for socially disadvantaged groups, ▲ provision of legal advice on the distribution of donations, and ▲ collaboration for disaster prevention and relief.
Pilho Song, chairman of Hope Bridge, stated, "This agreement is significant in that the precious donations from the public must be managed transparently and lawfully," adding, "Through our partnership with Dongin Law Firm, which actively spreads social value centered on its Public Interest Committee, we expect to further strengthen the association's expertise and efficiency in disaster relief operations."
Chungsu Jeong, honorary representative lawyer of Dongin Law Firm, said, "As disasters become increasingly diverse and large-scale, the importance of professional legal review in victim support work will also grow," and added, "Through this collaboration with Hope Bridge, a specialized disaster relief fundraising organization, we will further strengthen our public interest legal activities for disaster victims."
