Domestic all-in-one HR platform flex announced on June 11 that it has secured a 10 billion KRW Series B-1 bridge investment from Han River Partners, with the company valued at 500 billion KRW.
Flex is an IT startup founded in May 2019 with the mission of "becoming an essential resource for all workers by solving various problems faced by organizations and their members." The company has now reached its sixth anniversary. The investor, Han River Partners, is a global venture capital firm connecting Silicon Valley in the United States and Korea.
Flex plans to use the newly raised funds as a growth engine for its "Next Flex" initiative. Specifically, the company intends to invest in launching new services combined with artificial intelligence (AI) and in recruiting key talent.
Jang Haenam, CEO of flex, stated, "The growth of our customers has driven flex's own growth. To achieve even greater growth, we will accelerate our efforts to attract Series C investment," adding, "By combining AI with our services, we aim to become a pioneer of domestic 'AI SaaS' and usher in the era of 'SaaS 2.0'."
