TJ Media, the leading karaoke equipment company in South Korea by sales, announced on June 11 that it held a launch event for its new accompaniment machine, the '3 Series,' at Coex Magok in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. The event was a great success, with over 800 industry professionals and karaoke business owners in attendance.
The 3 Series, which TJ Media unveiled ambitiously for the first time in six years, features a design that breaks away from the conventional look of accompaniment machines, a user interface that maximizes immersion in singing, and significantly improved sound quality.
New features have been added to help secure regular customers and increase revenue, including: ▲ Room-to-room singing battles ▲ In-house event features ▲ Custom functions for foreigners ▲ Enhanced Perfect Score system ▲ The TJ membership app 'My TJ.'
The 'Room-to-room singing battle' drew attention with its addictive system incorporating gaming elements. The tension and excitement of real-time competition were immediately felt at the venue, receiving an enthusiastic response from attendees.
At the new product launch, TJ Media CEO Yoon Nara emphasized, "Karaoke venues must now evolve beyond being just a place to sing, becoming spaces where new experiences, diverse content, and vibrant communication come together."
Regarding the company's first CI renewal in 20 years, which took place in April, and the launch of the karaoke font 'TJ Norehaneun Jeulgeoumche,' she explained, "These changes were initiated with the hope that experiences at TJ would naturally become enjoyable memories for customers, making them want to return to karaoke venues."
She added, "To achieve this, we conducted extensive joint research with various experts over a long period, resulting in a product that is meticulously designed to consider both emotional and functional aspects."
A TJ Media representative said, "Given the enthusiastic response at the launch event, we expect new features such as the room-to-room singing battle and in-house event functions to directly lead to increased sales and repeat visits for businesses. We will continue to take the lead in growing the market in a healthy way together with all industry stakeholders."
