BC Card Launches GOAT Card '3+3 Double Rewards' Event

Earn an Extra 3% on Top of the Standard 3% for Overseas Payments

On June 11, BC Card announced that it will hold the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) Card '3+3 Double Rewards' event during the period when overseas spending typically increases, from summer vacations through the year-end shopping season.

The company will offer additional benefits for overseas use. After registering for the '3% base + 3% additional rewards for overseas on/offline payments' event through the Paybooc application, customers will receive an extra 3% in Paybooc Money on top of the standard 3% card service reward when making overseas payments.

Both offline overseas payments and online mall purchases are eligible for the additional rewards. The maximum additional reward is 30,000 won per month. The Paybooc Money will be credited every three months until December 31.

The GOAT Card is popular for both domestic and overseas transactions, as it has no minimum spending requirement or rewards cap from the previous month.

Depending on the transaction amount, customers can earn 1.5% Paybooc Money on domestic merchant payments up to 1 million won, 3% on overseas merchant payments, 1% on domestic merchant payments exceeding 1 million won, and 2% on overseas merchant payments exceeding 1 million won.

If the annual card spending exceeds 30 million won, customers can receive an additional 10% re-credit of the Paybooc Money they have already accumulated.
