The event is available for applications until August 29 and has been organized to promote trading in domestic futures and options.
Eligible new customers are those who opened a futures and options account for the first time after June 5 of this year. Dormant customers are those who opened a futures and options account before June 5 of this year and did not conduct any futures or options trades from February 5 of last year to June 4 of this year.
After applying for the event, customers can receive the discounted commission for two months if using a non-face-to-face account, or for one month if using a branch or bank account. With this discount, customers only pay the fees charged by related institutions, resulting in approximately 90% reduction in commission costs based on KOSPI200 futures.
If, during the discount period, customers achieve a trading volume of at least 40 billion KRW in futures or at least 1.2 billion KRW in options, they can receive an additional two months of discounted commissions (one month for branch or bank accounts), for a maximum total of four months. In addition, first-time trading customers can receive an extra benefit of 200,000 KRW in cash.
In addition to the "Domestic Futures and Options Fee Discount Event," various other events are also being held, such as a derivatives trading competition open to everyone and a KRX night trading fee coupon event.
More details about the event can be found on the Kiwoom Securities website or by contacting the Kiwoom Financial Center.
